Ever since I learned about the magic that is The 24 Hour Plays, I've wanted to do time-limited theatre. Today, I signed on to be a theatre-maker as part of "Tiny LGBTQ+ Shows" as part of the 96 Festival at Omnibus Theatre. Yay! I have to say, as a meticulous planner, I'm a little terrified, and a little stressed out already, but it's sure to be an incredible experience. I can't wait to meet some of the other incredible theatre-makers that will be a part of this event and see what comes out of the collaboration.
Here's the copy from the website: "Fifty LGBTQ+ creative practitioners are spending two days writing, rehearsing and performing tons of tiny LGBTQ+ shows. This is spontaneous creativity by collaborators who may have only just met. You can come and spend the whole weekend with them, bearing witness to this incredible creative process, simply join them on Sunday afternoon for the freshest performances in town." Performances are on Sunday, February 4. Tickets and more info available here: https://omnibus-clapham.org/event/tiny-lgbtq-shows/2018-02-03/
